2009 Oklahoma Wine Events in Early March

Don't spend March sitting at home watching Basketball! Warm desert air is expected to expand into the Great Plains all week long. They say that this should raise Texas and Oklahoma temperatures into the mid 80's. Yeah, I remember the 80's!

Fun in Drumright

Drumright Oklahoma's Tidal School Winery has some great events lined up for March including live music from Earl Clark & friends on March 7th and the BBQ & Blues event on Saturday, March 14, 2009. See their website for more details.

Wine Ranch Weekend

On March 21st, 2009 Stableridge Winery from Stroud, Oklahoma will present classes on Wine Sensory and Analysis, Wine Pairings with food and creating your own signature wine while you kick back and relax at Tatanka Ranch ( More info in this PDF ) .

Never thought that OK had a wine industry. Have good friend in Norman who knows my passion for wine and never mentioned it. Hope to see him in Fall of '09 and will definitely have him bring the OK wine.

The classes on Wine sensory and analysis sound very inviting - these really are some perfect ways to enjoy this promising month. I also recently stumbled across an amazing site - http://www.swirlandsip.com/index.html - they offer a service where they produce a magazine all about the industry and then allow you to customize the front and back covers, as a perfect gift to send to your customers. It seems to have superb standards too. It really struck me as a really neat idea.
