StableRidge Vineyards Offers Winemaker Training in August

Winemaker Reality Check

During the month of August, the vinters at Stableridge Vineyards are inviting up to 4 people per weekend to participate in every aspect of winemaking from the vine to the wine.

This is the same workday that the winery owners and workers put in. If you ever considered the business of wine you should take advantage of this opportunity. Participants will help harvest, crush, and press the grapes and prepare them for fermentation. Additional sessions include bottling the wine at a future date.

Openings are limited to four people per weekend. The price is $75.00 per person.

Accommodations are available, on-site, for an individual or couple for an additional $65.00 for the weekend.

Two Wine Events At Greenfield Vineyards

Father's Day and Independence Day Celebrations in Chandler

There are lots of fun events coming up at the winery in Chandler, Oklahoma. This weekend plan to include a wine tasting in your Father's Day festivities. Greenfield Vineyards will be having a Father's Day Open House with free hors de oeuvres on Sunday, June 18.

Saturday July 8th - Celebrate America Party

Join the folks at Natura Winery near Beggs, Oklahoma for an evening of fun as they celebrate America! Their event will include an old fashioned picnic, with a great BBQ meal and a wonderful music and comedy show by Bob Brewer. Two Big Oklahoma Wine Events This Weekend

Two of Oklahoma biggest wine events will be held this weekend. Whether you choose to visit the wine festival in Drumright or the one in Shawnee, you can expect to taste wines from a wide variety of Oklahoma vintners, while enjoying local gourmet foods, live music and more.

1. The 4th Annual Drumright Wine Fest - Saturday, June 10, 2006 Noon to 6 p.m. at Whitlock Park in Drumright, Oklahoma.

Drumright's Fourth Annual Wine Fest will feature Oklahoma Wineries including: Tidal School Winery and Vineyards of Drumright, MoonFeathers Winery of Guthrie, Tres Suenos of Luther, StableRidge Winery of Stroud, Nuyaka Creek Winery of Nuyaka, Greenfield Vineyard of Chandler, Sparks Vineyard and Winery, and The Grape Ranch from Okemah.
