Holiday events featuring Oklahoma wines to be held at Wewoka Country Club, Natura Winery & Tidal School Vineyards.

Wewoka, Oklahoma This Saturday

The Wewoka Country Club will be hosting live music from The Red Dirt Rangers & Randy Crouch. Music starts at 9:00 and it will just cost you $15 for cover & food. Find your way to Wewoka and the Country Club is at the east end of 7th Street. The Grape Ranch will be there serving their new Grape Ranch Frozen Rose.

Stopping by an Oklahoma winery is a great way to have a fun day and catch up on some holiday shopping. Christmas is the best time to take advantage of the significant savings most Oklahoma wineries provide when you purchase by the case. Other great reasons to give Oklahoma wines as Christmas gifts:

• Even 'The Person Who Has Everything' rarely has an extensive collection of local wines.


• Most folks don't expect much fancy wrapping on a bottle of vino and often the retailers have gift bags at the checkout counter.

Drumright, Oklahoma Next Saturday

Enjoy live music from 'Landslide', fine Oklahoma wine and sample organic goat milk cheeses and more at the Tidal School Winery in Drumright. Tickets are $10 each.

Combining many years of musical experience, Landslide graces the stage at Tidal School Vineyards. This local acoustic duo consists of Tonia Greening, a songstress whose talents were formerly heard on tour with Cheap Trick, and Tulsa’s own acoustic master Darin Gerald, a classically trained guitarist who brings mellow harmonies to create the perfect balance.

Beggs, Oklahoma Next Saturday

Come out and enjoy free hors d' oeuvres and holiday sweets while they last at Natura Winery near Beggs, Oklahoma. Create a unique gift basket that includes your favorite Natura wine and other Made-in-Oklahoma food products currently in stock. They will also have some pre-made gift baskets available for purchase and you can try out their new Free WiFi offering.

Both events will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 from 1pm to 4pm
