Our annual Spring wine festival is a great chance to rub elbows with Oklahoma's community of wine lovers and taste a wide variety of made-in-Oklahoma wines. This year attendees will get an even bigger taste of Oklahoma!
The 2012 Spring Wine Festival at Nuyaka Creek Winery will also include a benefit Chili Cook-off between area volunteer fire departments.
Entry into the event and parking is free at this family event. Adults can buy one $5.00 souvenir wine glass and taste all of the wines.
While you enjoy the live music and wine tasting, area fire fighters will be selling tasting and dinner tickets with the proceeds being split between the participating volunteer fire departments.

The Opening Night of Tulsa's massive Oktoberfest is tonight! Opening ceremonies and the official tapping of the keg are at 5pm. See www.tulsaoktoberfest.org for more information. Don't miss the 3rd annual "Running of the Wieners"on Sunday at 1pm! This is a fun event and if you have a wiener dog (Dachshund) that has racing potential...join in!
This year there will be an Oktoberfest tent dedicated to wine sales, but I have gotten no word of any Oklahoma wineries that will be pouring this year. Let me know, if you hear of any!
