Oklahoma Voters have elected to boost the state’s winemaking industry by approving Oklahoma State Question 743, which allows winemakers in Oklahoma and other states, with some restrictions, to sell wine directly to liquor stores and restaurants. The state question was approved with more than 70 percent of the vote.

You can ask your neighborhood liquor store to stock your favorite Oklahoma wine and they can contact the winery to have it delivered direct to them. Hopefully, we will all see an abundance of Oklahoma wines return to Oklahoma liquor store shelves!

The upcoming wine festival in OKC November 14 & 15 will be a great opportunity to get together with other Oklahoma Wine Industry supporters to celebrate and discuss the impact of SQ 743.
