Dr. Yair Margalit, scientist and author of several textbooks in winemaking technology and wine chemistry will be a featured keynote speaker. He will address the Sunday luncheon on growing premium wine grapes in hot climates, and small winery operations. Some of his most well known works include: Concepts in Wine Chemistry, The Winery Technology and Operations Handbook and Concepts in Wine Technology.

Also, two concurrent sessions for New Growers and Experienced Growers and Winery Owners will cover the specific needs for all levels of vineyard and winery operators. Dr. Eric Stafne, OSU will present a 'Grape Growers Primer' for those thinking about establishing vineyards. The Experienced Growers will hear from Dr. Phil Mulder, OSU entomology, and others on the Challenges of the 2005 Harvest.

The cost of registration is $150 per person which includes Friday evening art/light refreshments networking and silent auction, lunches on Saturday and Sunday, and the Saturday evening annual Oklahoma wine showcase buffet dinner.
