Oklahoma Winery Investment Opportunity

Tidal School Vineyards is opening its newest virtual winery investors program.

Round one of the program paid out a 21 percent profit for investors and round two is on its way to similar figures, said Gary Schroeder, president and CEO of Tidal School. Now the winery is opening round three of their series of Virtual Winery investments to potential investors.

The virtual winery allows investors to share in the profits of creating a wine without actually owning a vineyard or any equipment. Schroeder explained virtual winery investors don't own vineyards, buildings, or equipment. They don't have employees and the related complications. They provide the needed capital for the project and then share in the gross revenues from the sale of the wine.

Round three of Tidal School Vineyards Virtual Winery, which is open to new investors, will focus of the development of Oklahoma Gold, the third installment in a series of Tidal School wines that also includes Oklahoma Sweet and Oklahoma Sunset.

The Tidal School Winery is located two miles south of Drumright on State Highway 16. For more
information about the winery, visit their website www.tidalschool.com.

Festivus Celebration in Okemah Dec 16, 2006

A Festivus for the rest of us!
Originally uploaded by evilcabeza.
Grape Ranch - Festivus for the Restivus

Festivus is here and it's time to celebrate. The holiday for everyone begins at Grape Ranch Saturday Dec. 16, 2006 from 1-6pm.

The traditional celebration of this anything but traditional seasonal supplement includes the 'Airing of Grievances', 'Feats of Strength', plenty of nibbles, even more good cheer and hopefully your over-the-top participation in the silliness.

And yes, they have a pole. Although it's not too fancy. And no, there will be no tinsel. It's too distracting. Plan on a good time and remember to pick up plenty of Grape Ranch's nearly world famous Festivus wine for your friends and family.

Let them know you are coming by sending them an RSVP. The party is free, except for the liquid good cheer part.

For more great holiday gift ideas check out these gift lists: Paddlers Gifts, Home Coffee Roaster Gifts or Wine Grape Vines.

Oklahoma Wine Industry Holiday Events

Grape Ranch Sign
Originally uploaded by FreeWine.
Holiday events featuring Oklahoma wines to be held at Wewoka Country Club, Natura Winery & Tidal School Vineyards.

Wewoka, Oklahoma This Saturday

The Wewoka Country Club will be hosting live music from The Red Dirt Rangers & Randy Crouch. Music starts at 9:00 and it will just cost you $15 for cover & food. Find your way to Wewoka and the Country Club is at the east end of 7th Street. The Grape Ranch will be there serving their new Grape Ranch Frozen Rose.

Stopping by an Oklahoma winery is a great way to have a fun day and catch up on some holiday shopping. Christmas is the best time to take advantage of the significant savings most Oklahoma wineries provide when you purchase by the case. Other great reasons to give Oklahoma wines as Christmas gifts:

  • Even 'The Person Who Has Everything' rarely has an extensive collection of local wines.

  • Most folks don't expect much fancy wrapping on a bottle of vino and often the retailers have gift bags at the checkout counter.

  • Keep a case in the closet as gifts for unexpected guests, any leftover bottles won't make it past New Year's Day!

  • I've been on winery tours and I have been to Wal-Mart and I can honestly say that wineries are more fun.

Check out these holiday events currently scheduled at some of Oklahoma's finest wineries for Saturday December 9, 2006.

Drumright, Oklahoma Next Saturday

Enjoy live music from 'Landslide', fine Oklahoma wine and sample organic goat milk cheeses and more at the Tidal School Winery in Drumright. Tickets are $10 each.

Combining many years of musical experience, Landslide graces the stage at Tidal School Vineyards. This local acoustic duo consists of Tonia Greening, a songstress whose talents were formerly heard on tour with Cheap Trick, and Tulsa’s own acoustic master Darin Gerald, a classically trained guitarist who brings mellow harmonies to create the perfect balance.

Beggs, Oklahoma Next Saturday

Come out and enjoy free hors d' oeuvres and holiday sweets while they last at Natura Winery near Beggs, Oklahoma. Create a unique gift basket that includes your favorite Natura wine and other Made-in-Oklahoma food products currently in stock. They will also have some pre-made gift baskets available for purchase and you can try out their new Free WiFi offering.

Both events will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 from 1pm to 4pm

If you go by Natura Winery you may also want to swing by and meet my parents at Nuyaka Creek Winery as it is just a few minutes drive away.
